"The cookout is a staple in the black community. A sacred space for gathering, fellowship, love, and joy. A space with good food, live music, story sharing, card games, and dancing. When you're at a cookout, you're home. We created a clothing, and lifestyle brand as A love letter to Black People, Black Culture, Black History, and Black Advancement. We strive to uplift Black Businesses, Black Communities, Black Joy, and Black Resilience. A company founded by black women, we set the tone and precedence for how we want the world to see us, our families, and our communities who need us most. We coined our famous slogan "The Solution is Black Women" as a symbol that when we put our minds to it, we can accomplish anything, and want to share that sentiment with others, as a way to build and strengthen each other through bold apparel pieces.-#ThisistheCookout, Come Join Us"
