THE HOUSE OF CHARGOIS LLCIn 2004 The House of Chargois located at 1709 Rosewood St in the heart of 3rd Ward and the Museum District was established by the Mother-Daughter team of Diannetta “Ms D” Mayes Chargois and Tramaine Chargois Singleton. With a love of beautiful clothing and a desire to own a bridal and formalwear boutique, after the downsizing of Ms D’s corporate job it was decided that this was a perfect time to start the business. Their main focus has been formalwear such as elegant gowns and stylist tuxedos that may be rented or purchased but they also carry a few ready-to-wear select classy pieces. These Designers are always trying to give back to their community through their Community Partnership Program that gives 10% back to businesses and organizations that partner with them on events. During Prom Season they have donated to high school students that couldn’t afford to purchase gowns and tuxedos. They are also the Founders of a newly formed organization “The Alliance of Fashion and Beauty Professionals Inc whose main focus is to partner and support individuals and businesses in the industry. The organization is open to anyone in the fashion industry from designers to photographers, models, make-up artist and more.We have mentored numerous college students about “what it takes to have a business”. We’ve tried to encourage them to always follow their heart and have vehicles to get them to their goals. Through strong faith in God and believing in their abilities they will get to a place called SUCCESS.
