As a socially-conscious international enterprise, our mission is to enable emerging leaders and organizations in international development to acquire new skills, establish community, connect with resources, and evaluate how their leadership practices can embody principles of social justice. Our Career Management Services focuses on teaching at the intersection of technical and transformational: meeting the everyday, practical needs of international development leaders while deepening their understanding of how their approach to leadership can help dismantle oppression inside and outside their organizations. We support international development practitioners at various stages navigate their career transitions. Our Organizational Change and Leadership Services focuses on partnering with companies and organizations in the global development sector to create a more inclusive environment. Our Advancing Racial and Ethnic Equity efforts seek to eliminate the systemic racism and bias inherent in the international development and humanitarian assistance culture and operations. Our work aims to instill racial and ethnic equity as a core principle in the sector. As a result of our work, we develop and deliver strategies, frameworks, tools, and training programs that challenge the status quo and create outcomes that promote racial equity.Our Diaspora Engagement Initiative seeks to harness the collective power, capacity, and resources of Black and Afrodescendents on and off the continent. Our efforts involve amplifying strategies and solutions of local partners and expanding the collaborative work of Afrodescendents in participatory ways of channeling funding.
