CORE 4 Learning

CORE 4 Learning is a personalized, 60-minute, in-person (or virtual), small group (or individual), collaborative, hands-on academic coaching service, catering to children ages 3-14 years old, to overcome social, mental, and academic obstacles. CORE is an acronym emblematic of these four words: Connect, Organize, Resile, and Empower. Our services focus on equipping our students with strategies in the areas of reading, writing, and math to build their confidence. The purpose of our academic coaching sessions is to expand upon the learning students are receiving in school. We intervene in penetrating students’ understanding with the intention to enable them to become independent learners and thinkers and take ownership in their learning process. We also offer a homeschool option, CORE 4 Learning Launchpad (C4LL). C4LL is a private, in-home schooling service that is personalized and student-directed for children ages 3-6 (transitional kinder to first grade) years old. Students will engage in three-hours of academic instruction, with a 15-minute break in the morning and a 10-minute break the latter part of the day. Our core competencies include math, language arts, social studies, and science, based on the California State Standards. Our enrichment curriculum includes health (i.e. hygiene, social emotional well-being, and mental health), physical education, and creative art (i.e. art, dance, dramatic play/theatre, and music).
