Scripted1 The Collections

Scripted1 began back in 2000 with a sketch pad and colored pencils and a vision that could stretch across a football field. It was not until the year 2007 that the first piece was created and hand sewn by Shay, who is a self taught designer. Shay received a BFA in Graphic Design in 2006 but decided to add her love of design and use it in a form of fashion as her form of poetry in motion. The name “Scripted" originates from her love and passion of poetry: a writer herself since the age of 12, she uses her poetry and describes her emotions through fabric. Scripted creates pieces which are outspoken and eccentric. Throughout the years the line has evolved and developed and has become what is known today as Scripted1 for the Couture Market and SAINT XIV for the RTW Market. Both brands are now housed under the household name “The Collections:”. Currently Scripted is working on contracts for showrooms in LA, looking for silent investors and celebrity brand endorsements both brands are located in Atlanta, GA.
